| BIA Instrumented Crash Walls quantify the structural integrity of any vehicle in frontral or offset (with deformable barrier or AZT corner) impact crash conditions. BIA Instrumented Crash Wall is made of 125 x 125 mm strain gauge load sensors, specially designed to record data in multi-axial crash applications. THREE TYPES OF CONFIGURATION • Frontal Crash • Deformable Offset Barrier Crash • Offset Crash with AZT Corners ON-BOARD DATA ACQUISITION Data acquisition is located directly in the crash wall structure to avoid complex cabling and connected with a single Ethernet cable. Each strain gauge characteristic is taken into account and mathematical corrections are made to achieve improved accuracy. Global accuracy level is better than 0.5% after treatment with BIA Data Acquisition System. LOAD CELLS CHARACTERISTICS Fx: 400 kN Fy, Fz: 150 kN Crosstalk < 2% Non-Linearity < 0.2% Overload: 300% |
